Zety Review: Tooliverse Consensus
Based on 9k+ verified reviews across 4 platforms,
combined with Tooliverse's expert analysis
Zety turns resume building into a guided exercise, pairing polished templates with pre-written, AI-assisted phrasing that helps first-time applicants describe their work convincingly. Reviewers credit the drag-and-drop editor, live scoring, and matching cover letters for making applications look cohesive. The catch is billing: downloads sit behind a paywall, the trial rolls into a recurring subscription without much warning, and cancellation takes more digging than sign-up. PDF imports also tend to need formatting cleanup, so building from scratch works better.
Bottom line: A strong resume builder whose polished templates and coaching-style suggestions deliver real interview results, provided you watch the trial's auto-renewal and accept that downloads require paying.

Zety Pricing 2026
View SourceThe free tier builds unlimited resumes but exports only TXT, so plan on paying to get a usable PDF. The Annual package at $5.95/month billed annually is the better buy for anyone searching longer than a month, since the Pro trial's $25.95 renewal every 4 weeks adds up fast. If you only need one download, set a cancellation reminder before the 14-day trial ends.
Zety In-Depth Review 2026
Zety is an online builder for resumes, CVs, and cover letters, operated by Works Limited and used by roughly 7,500,000 people a year. It runs in the browser in seven languages, walks you through a template choice, then fills sections with pre-written phrases tied to your job title that you add with a click. An ATS checker scores the finished document, and more than 18 templates keep layouts readable by applicant tracking systems.
What It's Like Day-to-Day
The workflow is short. You pick a template, enter contact details and a target job title, and the builder proposes content you can edit. Reviewers describe the drag-and-drop editor and live preview as quick enough to produce a finished draft in under half an hour, and Trustpilot users credit the layouts for the results, with one reporting more interviews in two weeks than in two months with an old Word file and calling the templates "sleek and professional." It is a rare career tool where the hardest decision is choosing between Cascade and Crisp.
The scoring layer is where it behaves most like a coach.
